Do you understand it’s her special interest because you’ve allowed it to be? You’ve reinforced the behaviour and now you’re telling her it’s expensive. Schools work tirelessly to discourage behaviours like this because it’s unrealistic. You can’t tell her it’s expensive but continue to buy them. You’re giving mixed signals and creating blurred lines of boundaries. She has a trajectory schema, find other things that meet this need, there are plenty. If she didn’t have the wipes she would find something else that fulfils her schema

OK. Here's a plan. Download Boots recycle app. Save all the packets. Go into boots - there's a recycling box. Scan the QR and put up to 5 packets in the box a day. For each packet you get 100 points which equals £1. You can do that 8 times a month which equates to £40 in points to spend in Boots. You have to spend £10 for 5 deposits and 500 points (=£5) Sounds far more complicated than it actually is but honestly it's really easy.

Would reusable wipes be any good? You can keep soaking and putting back in the container to pull? My boy use to be like this but he liked sucking the water out of them so I had to get reusable ones

Ive had an idea, get in touch with the wet wipes company, tell them you have a ticktock platform that you can advertise their wet wipes on, maybe you can get them free and then Bethany can chew away to her hearts content. worth a try 😉 😁💜

You’re not think you could just make your own wet wipes just get a kitchen roll and put some water onto it into a wipes container and you could just put scented oil into it
