Already done: E6, E5, E4 I don’t think people will like these ones too much. But I felt fish fit for enneagram 4. Enneagram 4 is often described as “eccentric” and find joy in feeling different, so I tried to take a sort of “fish out of water” approach with these designs. SO4: I made social 4 a carp. Carps are extremely common fish, and a large part of so4 is wanting to have a sense of individuality; a distinct and profound sense of self. This is why I made social 4 a carp painting on colourful spots to mimic a koi. Not only is the painting a nod to social 4s described creativity and expression through art, I made so4 mimicking a koi fish because of 4s envy. I also decided to make so4s face be similar to that of a mime because of the general 4 theatrics and dramatisation (mimes are also sometimes associated with melancholy, another thing relative to social 4s comfort with suffering). SX4: I decided to go with an electric eel for sexual 4. I did this for two main reasons: sx4s anger and sx4s envy/jealousy. Sx4 is often described having a sort of “electric anger” (if I am not mistaken). I drew piercing orange electric bolts zigzagging throughout sx4s body: a symbol of their outward display of anger. I also made them an eel to sort of juxtapose with the designs of social 4 and self-preversation 4; sexual 4s distinct, outright anger being different to that of the rest of the 4 ennea. They are jealous that they are not fish, and they’re not quite a snake either. An awkward, angry mix of both. I gave them jagged, sharp lines and honestly just let myself have fun with being a bit messy with the design. SP4: Self-preservation 4 is the countertype of the enneagram 4. Instead of using darker colours like I did with social and sexual 4, Self-preservation 4 is orange. But they’re not a striking orange, only their eye is. They’re a dull, faded, sad orange. I made them clearly sickly-looking, however they are stuck inside of a (remarkably murky) fish bowl. They are in an unhealthy situation/state of mind yet they feel that they cannot escape that environment, that they cannot “stir the waters” if you will.
