If you’re truly a fan of someone, your concern should stop at hoping they’re okay—not filling their comments with opinions about their body or endless theories that only add to the noise. Because if someone is genuinely going through a difficult time, the last thing they need is millions of people analyzing their appearance every single day. I hope Ari is surrounded by the people who love her, finds peace, and chooses herself over the pressure of the internet. And if she needs to step away for a while, I hope she does so without feeling guilty. I don’t want her to be okay so she can come back sooner, release more music, or meet other people’s expectations.
