yes! This is where I got my love for comic books my dad used to take me there after picking me up from school and buy me one comic book I even got the pinoy comic book wherein there is a secret agency that fights mythical pinoy creatures ( I forgot the title actually but if you guys know the title please tell me 🥺) that memory is so engraved to my memory that I find it so comforting when I relive those days and kind of sad that they do not even sell comic books nowadays 🥺

dati akong promodiser sa nbs, minsan pag wala akong magawa nag ca-canvas ako ng books dun actually gulat nga ako may nakita akong comics ng marvel tsaka dc nun pero hindi siya yung mga issue comics like literal lang na libro sobrang bilang lang like 3 lang din ata yun

Well, I know that. I used to buy comic books in National when I was a student. But did you also know Philippine publishers printed Tagalized version of marvel comics? I think this was 1993 to 1995. they used to sell it at newstands, back when there are newstands at every corner close to universities and business offices. there's newspapers, magazines, comic books like Funny Komiks. Even sleazy adult magazines and newspapers.
