here’s an idea: what if you keep some stuff out of your project play so that you can still shop your stash after finishing a certain number of products? this way you wouldn’t need to go out and buy a new one to have something different to try out

I totally separate my unopened from open ones. I open a new one after I empty two. It’s like shopping my own stock!

As a lippie addict, I can attest how hard it is. When I really like a lip balm, I tend to get multiple shades/flavors in the same format. So I guess I would call it a collection at this point. I decided to work on one lip balm that I use every day towards evening (daytime I still like to have a choice and play), but damn, the one I’m currently panning is going slow. It really makes you think of how much product is in those tubes! I’m currently trying to go through my MINI (🙄yup) ole citrus one and it’s finally showing signs of getting low. So I feel your pain, and although I’m better at tossing other old makeup items, lip products also have some type of emotional hold on me that other things don’t. Good luck and I can’t wait to see how this PANS out 😉😂 (see what I did there). We all have our own struggles and I wish people weren’t so quick to judge those who have different struggles from others.

In your defense as a girl, you need multiple chapstick/lipgloss. You need one for a car, purse, nightstand, bathroom, kitchen junk drawer and the random one under the sofa. So I support this especially if it’s a passion.

possibly roll a dice for the lipstick pans. if you want to pull a pan with your other lip products, I think that would be the easiest way. personally I'd be less worried about those lipstick pans since you don't have that many. and I think you should be able to choose your liner after drawing everything else so you'll have more confidence wearing the products

I totally understand with separating unopened and opened products. I have all my unopened products completely separate from my opened products, it helps me be less tempted to open and try a new product everyday 💕

Another thing I do, is find the minis that are opened or with minimal product and knock those out first!
