I know many people may not agree with me, but I can't hide my disappointment over the outcome. In my view, this matter could have been handled differently long before it reached this stage. Age catches up with everyone, and it is obvious that the chief has advanced in years. Instead of allowing the situation to end this way, I believe we should have found a way to support him while preserving the dignity of the stool and the legacy he built over the years. Just as a minor who is enstooled is guided until they are mature enough to rule, I believe there should also be mechanisms to assist a chief whose old age affects his ability to carry out his responsibilities. It is heartbreaking that the longest-serving chief's reign has ended under these circumstances. Whether one agrees or disagrees with the ruling, I believe he deserved an exit that reflected his years of service and dedication.
