During my student years, these noodles were my favorite takeaway. I recently remembered them and knew I had to make them at home! They are totally easy, ready in minutes (which is something I especially love during busy week) and together with the sauce, this meal will take you to noodle heaven! 📸: @recipesbyanne 💚 Ingredients: 2 lean chicken breasts half of white cabbage 2 carrots 200 g chow mein noodles 1 1/2 tbsp peanut oil 3 green onions salt & pepper to taste For the Sauce: 2 tbsp avocado oil 5 tbsp soy sauce 1 tbsp oyster sauce 2 tsp sesame oil 1 tsp sriracha 1 tsp brown sugar 1 tsp cornstarch 3 garlic cloves 1 tsp minced ginger Directions: Cook noodles per package instructions. Heat peanut oil in a pan or wok over high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned, then season lightly with salt and pepper. Remove chicken and set aside. While chicken cooks, prepare the sauce by mixing all ingredients together in a small bowl. Set aside. Add shredded cabbage and carrot to the same pan and stir-fry for 1 1/2 minutes until the cabbage is mostly wilted. Return chicken and noodles to the pan, pour in the sauce, and stir well. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the chicken is heated through and the sauce has thickened. #onepan #onepanmeal #Foodie #food #chickenchowmein #dinner #chicken #chowmein #healthy #onepot #instafood #sausage #onions #Recipe #homecookedmeal #onepanmeals #personalchef #onepanchallenge #foodstagram #yummy #EasyRecipes #homemade #glutenfree #DinnerIdeas #lowcarb #healthyfood #foodblogger #healthyrecipes
