Update: The buyer and her mother reached out, offering us to send the money back and exchange for removing the videos from social media. Poshmark ended up refunding the money. So the buyer paid and the video stayed up.

She tried to reach out to the platform she sold them on (I can’t remember the name) and they were ZERO help until her video blew up, THENNNNN they suddenly wanted to “make sure this was taken care of appropriately”. Crazy how often that happens.

This is kind of satisfying. I never get the justice I want. Yes, I voted, she can't do this, but I'm happy she got away with it. It's like going to a store, getting a product, using that product, and then getting your money back for it. I love free things.

I think there’s a difference between what is legal and what is practical. The platform and/or bank will likely side with the consumer and it will be up to the merchant seller to take the buyer to court, which is a difficult process and may not result in an actual recovery.
