I was there on Saturday; it was completely clean and incredibly beautiful. I don't know which beach you were on, but it was the most beautiful one in Cala d'Or.

The two beaches in Cala mondrago national park were the best for me , beautiful and lots of space , early morning swim there is amazing

A storm a few days ago washed up seaweed and microplastics from the sea that’s probably why. It does get busy there (it’s high season) and also people leave their shit there. I saw plastic bags, life vests and beer cans from the day before there before I left. Shocking.
