Some of the best people I’ve ever worked side-by-side with have had what people like to call “character defects.” Don’t judge a book by its cover. Those GQ-looking, cocky people everybody seems intimidated by are often the weakest link when it’s time to actually work as a team. Character isn’t about looking perfect, sounding confident, or putting on an image. It shows in how you work, how you treat the people beside you, and whether you can be counted on when things get tough. That’s not an assumption. That’s speaking from experience.
