I have to disagree. Maybe I would’ve agreed if my grandma was at 95 been overweight her whole life never worked out a day in her life. Granted she was always doing something and on the move. She ate lots of animal fat bacon lots of butter lots of grease. Lots of cake, cakes, and ice cream. She wasn’t really big on fast food or chips though. She had an occasional drink for celebrations she wasn’t a smoker. But she wasn’t big on vegetables. She was big on meat. No exercise. But never sedentary. Definitely is more genetics in my opinion… also her cholesterol is perfect with all that animal, fat and eggs and everything also that’s genetics cause my cholesterol is in the garbage and I don’t even eat that

I agree I think genetics has a lot to do with it, but my dad lived to be 86 years old. He had cancer that was in remission, but he liked to eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. He had his own garden. He walked a lot every single day and for me, I’d like to walk a lot also.

Meanwhile all the 100 plus years attribute their age to a coke a day, bacon every day, McDonalds every day. Not one person who is interviewed at 104 years old says diet and exercise. So 80% is difficult for me to believe. I would look to see how big her study was.

My parents have never worked out a day in their lives. I mean never! They both have been overweight and had the diets of teenagers. They didn't smoke or drink alcohol on the regular. They socialized often. They loved their family. They are 86 and 83 and still going.

I don't believe this. Super fit and healthy people get cancer left and right and yet maany people who have smoked their whole life live to be 90 years old. I don't believe these numbers but would love to see a study that is reliable
