Exploring: Brunello Cucinelli --- [shop.] Brunello Cucinelli [.com/en-gb/ai] -- I spend so much time exploring B2B and agency websites. So it's always interesting to see what’s happening in e-commerce for a change! This is an ultra-luxury shopping experience with huge full-screen imagery and a rather lovely AI command bar sitting centrally at the bottom. Not a tiny chatbot in the corner quietly begging to be opened. It feels integral ⚔️ Type “knitwear” and it begins gathering inspiration, creating suggestions and pulling together products. Open an item and that same system helps with materials, styling and the rest of the shopping experience. It isn’t flawless but the positioning of it is so interesting. Putting AI centrally says: “Use me. I work.” It also gives the imagery space to completely fill the page while keeping navigation and information within reach. I think we’re going to see much, much more of this - AI becoming part of the website rather than another little bubble stuck in the corner.
