I tried to stitch this but apparently I can’t work TikTok. All I wanted to say was this: as someone who went to her final year lectures in full glam and falsies, I feel this. I always felt judged when I walked into academic spaces, as though time taken on my appearance was time taken away from ‘study’. I will continue to show up in full glam, red lip, curled hair, AND expertise 💅 because paying attention to one doesn’t mean you are neglecting the other
