I was on the same flight when the incident happened. A Singapore passenger informed the other party that the overhead compartment was already full. However, the other party explained that it was a shared overhead compartment and that she needed to place her bag in the compartment next to it. In the end, the cabin crew stepped in, resolved the situation professionally, and made some allowance so that both passengers were able to store their belongings.😅
