what you are tasting is the artificial sweeteners. I get migraines from all of the artificial sweeteners, and the taste is awful to me.

when i was pregnant i had gestational diabetes so if i wanted a soft drink it had to be a zero and the sucralose flavor KILLED me every time. its just that fake sugar flavor and it left me completely unsatisfied every single time.

I haven't enjoyed a Diet Coke or Celsius in months. I tried blooms sparking energy in crisp apple and love it! I always thought alanis were too sweet and a bit gross
