and I was lucky to receive some book tokens from my nearest and dearest. These are the books that I chose to buy🫀 🐍I, Medusa by Ayana Gray I saw someone read an arc of this (I think it was @Mrs. Yang 📚🌻 ) and I’ve been waiting for it to be published! I saved back a voucher for publication day specifically to get this book 🧜‍♀️In the Veins of the Drowning by Katie Cassidy I asked Brooke Fast what her favourite book of the year was, as everybody kept saying her book (To Cage a Wild Bird) was their best read of the year. Brooke said this book, she had me at sirens!!! 💜Moth Dark by Kika Hatzopoulou I loved Threads that bind and I can’t lie - This book is gorgeous! 🔥Blood Over Bright Haven by M. L. Wang It took everything in me not to buy this on my no buy, this is my most anticipated read 🧛🏻‍♂️One Girl in all the World by Kendare Blake I really loved book 1 and I love this fresh take on the Buffy the Vampire Slayer legacy. 💗Dinner for Vampires by Bethany Joy Lenz I’ve really loved memoirs by women that came into the public eye as young female performers. Bethany supposedly details her time on cult tv show One Tree Hill while simultaneously actually living in a real-life cult. 🌼A Caribbean Heiress in Paris by Adriana Herrera My friend Shonna recommended this to me some time ago and I’m so happy to finally experience top tier lush historical romance. 🛁Bath Haus by P. J. Vernon A gay one night stand from hell? Say less! The age of the gay thriller has arrived. 🌊We Fell Apart by E. Lockhart If it’s set in the same world as We Were Liars I will read it. Luckily I read the original when I was young and I love it dearly. One twist I never saw coming (and had never read before) 🧡They Never Learn by Layne Fargo @Layne The Favourites was my best read of last year, everything Layne writes just makes sense to my heart. I’m so ready for a thriller! 🐺Mate by Ali Hazelwood I really liked Bride, alongside all of Ali’s other works, that I couldn’t really say no. 🪶Feathers so Vicious by Liv Zander Someone I trust dearly told me I needed it and reviews talk about washing your eyeballs out with bleach. I’ll update you😂 #bookhaul #birthdayhaul #books #reading
