@aghaalihashmi5: During my visit to a cemetery in Iran, I noticed many people walking across the graves, which surprised me because I had always believed this might be considered sinful or disrespectful. When I asked the locals, they explained that, according to the religious understanding followed by many Shia Muslims in Iran, walking on graves is generally not considered a sin but they believe it is a blessing for the person buried in the grave. This is a belief shared by the people I spoke with, and different Islamic schools of thought have different views on this issue.
