My grandfather owns 40 acres in Jamesport, Mo. Large Amish population. the old man across the road would always sneak out at night during deer camp and have a beer and bowl of chili with us. sons helped us track deer, great memories!

I live near Seymour MO which is a VERY large Amish community (there are at least 3 others within a 50 mile radius) and MoDOT has to constantly redo the roads.

The steel wheel and horse shoes destroy the roads - New Wilmington PA route 208 area is an example. They don't pay fuel taxes to fix the roads but continue to use them

Amish are big here in Missouri...The Walmart in Farmington Missouri has horse and buggy parking spots.

Good for them! I left California for Missouri because of laws I don’t agree with as well. My only regret is that I had done it sooner. Missouri is absolutely beautiful!

I’m from Missouri! A lot of Amish here! They have the best surplus stores, grocery stores and green houses! They make a lot of things affordable for us!!!

Windsor Missouri has a pretty big population outside of it. They have all been fairly cool. Love the bulk stores myself.
