Your friends hating your partner isn’t automatic proof your partner is the problem. Sometimes your circle is only hearing your side, validating your resentment, and reinforcing the story you already want to believe. That’s why therapy is better than turning relationship problems into group chat evidence.

You first need to make sure that your family and friends have the correct information to make a suggestion like that. My ex would love to vent to others about disagreements or behaviors, always sharing her side, but many times when it was all a misunderstanding, the more honest truth never was given. The repair was done in the relationship but the bad messages were delivered and left unattended. If they were to say the same about me, I wouldn’t have been surprised
