Asked him for an estimate from the jump and couldnt get one. Hes experienced and in LA so i feel like the $1400 day rate is probably because he knows hes slow? I have no idea. I drive a total of 4 hr round trip and even got hit by a car otw to an appt one time. I was actually on session 13 during the video and went back 2 more times since then and still not done. I wanted to make this video for awhile because i truly didnt know what was taking so long. Months ago i didnt know how to ask an artist to speed it up lol. Hes a good dude and i really didnt think it was intentional but i prob wont finish until 18 sessione. In retrospect i prob would of found someone with a 2-2.5k day rate and could of got it done in 5-8 sessions or something. Didnt realize this project woule of been 20K plus

I would ask right off the bat, how long because even if you're in love with the artist you need to think about whether or not you can afford them.
