I 'broke' a midwife. She said I could scream anything & not to worry, she'd heard it all. So I repeatedly screamed 'vasectomy' while they ran me into theatre. My midwife was laughing so hard she had to sit down & catch her breath.

My dad was on the other side of the curtain during my mom’s c-section with just NARRATING. He apparently kept saying “Oh my god, Mel! This is so cool! You have to see this.” As if she wasn’t having an 11 lb 5 oz baby taken out of her. This is after my older brother’s traumatic birth where the L&D doctor was fired on the spot

My first 2 kids were 2 days early and a day late. Labors were 5hrs and 4hrs from start to finish. With my 3rd he went hunting on my due date! I was starting labor that day and willed it away. My son was then 11days late and emergency dr panicked C-section! 🤣🤦🏻♀️

The nurse came in and was surprised my husband was changing our sons diaper. His response was “my role so far was 1 night.. she just pushed a human out of her body. This is the least I can do. Plus I’m his dad, it’s kinda my job”
