Ok, you’re gonna love this… SouthWest harbor… but if you did Asticou I’m 99% certain you started more in Northeast Harbor! So for the pronunciations, if you’re interested… “Ass-ti-coo”, “Thoo-ya” and Martha has a house in seal harbor… no town ownership … I’m so happy to see you enjoyed our little piece of a Eden!! 🥰

As someone who grew up in Seal Harbor I hate to break it to you but Martha just owns one house and not the whole village lmao. Tbh the Rockefeller family owns way more land than she does by far. Glad you enjoyed your time visiting our little island and Acadia and definitely come back to explore more parts of MDI! Some of my favorite places are off the beaten path and it’s so nice to see people enjoy Asticou and Thuya Gardens, they are such hidden gems 😊
