I lost my dad when I was 37 to kidney cancer stage 4 the treatment stopped working it was the hardest thing to watch him slowly lose his strength i stayed with him every day in hospice and the day he told me go home was the day he passed away I felt so awful that empty feeling of never being able to hear their voice or see them smile and not being able to hug them or to tell them again how much you love them it’s a pain that’s hard to describe it’s only been 2 1/2 years and it feels like yesterday my heart shattered into millions of pieces 😭 papi te extraño 💔

I lost my dad at 15 to cancer he was stubborn didn’t go to the doctor so we only found out when he was made to go to the hospital the nurse pressed his hip and it snapped they did test immediately did surgery and transferred him to a different hospital to “be comfortable” there was nothing they could do. We had 2/3 wks after that. I fell asleep holding his hand woke up to people taking my hand out of his and taking his oxygen off. I watched him take his last breath I miss him so much I’m now almost 27 and have an almost 5 year old he never met. He didn’t get to walk me down the aisle or my sister.

I had 12 years with my father… I lost him in 2017. I’m 21 soon to be 22 and Ive had to have my babies without him… moved out, got a house, jobs, I drive now… and I hope he sees and he’s proud. I miss you daddy.
