Same case happens in PCG back in the 80s. Old timer told me the story. An ns men off'ing his crew commander and make the other 2 crew to jump into the sea. 1 didnt make it to shore. Then the guy drive the boat, beach it somewhere at west area and go home with all the guns and ammo. manhunt for him the nxt day. charged with murder

i was sitting at the training shed nearby waiting for my detail to be called for the next shooting. It happened in late 1993, 300m rundown range, Pulau Tekong. PC just got posted from OCS. The recruit was a quiet guy. After that incident officers treated us differently...more friendly approach....hahahaha

Happen on 1 Sep 1993. I enlisted on 2 Sep 1993. Was taken aback when my 3-Tonner reach commando jetty for the RPL ride to Tekong. Full of police cars. We read the RO then after , heard PC got a state flag & $2k insurance payout
