Police bodycam footage from Canton, Ohio, where a K9 officer deployed his police dog on a bystander who was already face down on the ground with his hands behind his back, an incident that cost the officer his job. On May 30, 2024, at approximately 8:45 p.m., Canton police stopped a vehicle in the 1100 block of 16th Street NW after it made a sudden turn to a curb.
