the chlorine tabs need to go in a floater that floats in the water and allows it to slowly resolve over time. you also should have a pump for your specific sized pool. I've been living the pool learning life the last 2 years haha

Always have floater with chlorine tab in it and then once a week do a powder pouch of shock. We mix it in a bucket of water then dump in

Get a decent size pump that runs pretty much all the time, you want to treat it like an in ground pool. Also get a cover if you haven’t already so when you’re not using it the leaves/ dust/dirt won’t make it dirty! If the temperature outside fluctuates it’ll cause the algae to build up quicker! There’s a lot of yt ppl that my husband watched to treat our above ground when we had it and we really loved it! Also for the bees add a small water feature like a bird bath with stones in the bowl part so that the bees have somewhere to get water (that’s all they want which is why the pool for infested with them) they’re just thirsty 😅 sorry this was long ⛱️👙

Put cooper in the skimmer basket. Found at hardware stores. Allow pump to continuously run and ALWAYS have chlorine tabs in your floater around the pool. That’s all I use and haven’t dealt with green algae in years.
