Biomedical student here. Most women’s treatments are actually the doctors using something outside of their usual therapeutic purpose. Allergy medication for PMS. Heart medication for hormonal acne. The pill for endometriosis and PCOS. All that because women’s health progresses were made by female doctors experimenting on themselves
