ok so. technically a modern mirror would show a vampire old mirrors used to be backed in silver, which is pure and vampires couldn't interact with silver anything. modern mirrors are not backed in silver

FUN FACT I LIKE SHARING!! The reason vampires were said to never able to see their reflection in mirrors is because the mirrors were made out of silver, which was considered a holy metal! But uh… we don’t use silver anymore soooo… TECHNICALLY vampires would be able to see themselves! [happy]

The “silver in mirrors” fact everyone is putting in the comments also applies to cameras! Photos used to develop with silver, but modern cameras don’t. Vampires could probably take all the selfies they want nowadays!

Depends on the lore and mirror. Old mirrors used to be made with silver, which was why their reflections didn't appear. Also plenty of vampire things that don't do the mirror thing.
