@tiffycooks: KOREAN MARINATED EGGS, mayak gyeran, one of my most made recipes, perfect for meal prep because these eggs literally go well with EVERYTHING! 6 cloves Garlic minced 2 Korean Green Pepper chopped 1 Red Chili chopped & optional 3 Green Onion chopped & optional 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds 1 cup Soy Sauce ½ cup Honey 1 tbsp Sesame Oil optional ½ cup Water Full printable recipe in my bio :) #homecooking #koreanfood #eggs
adding sesame oil makes it spoil faster (maybe 2 days). I would add sesame oil to the egg when you’re about to eat and you can keep the stock for up to 5 days

Don’t waste the marinade when the eggs are done. Drain and throw in a can of quail eggs. But eat it quickly so the old sauce doesn’t grow bacteria

So we usually make an entire carton of eggs for the entire week and I usually marinate a few of them and when I say we make an entire carton, I usually use the Insta pot. You only cook it for two minutes in the Insta pot and then like let it rest for 30 seconds and then depressurize it open the Insta pot and then immediately put the eggs in a nice bath to stop the cooking and then peel them. They are the most delicious eggs. I think I’ve ever made. This is the only way that I will make them now and heads up. No salt has ever needed on a plain egg. It’s that Good.

Honest question, why does a pointy spoon make a difference? Wouldn't any spoon work?

Eggs that are a few days old peel noticeably easier than super-fresh eggs.
Aim for about 5–10 days old eggs if you can plan ahead.
