Our upgrades are super personal and don’t make sense for everyone … whole home water filter to drink from any tap, hot water dispenser at the sink for French press coffee, pot filler because in the south we make a lot of dishes like rice and gravy not just pasta or soup. Principle faucets foot pedal so my littlest can operate the faucet without reaching the levers and also it makes rinsing dishes for the dishwasher easy, double dishwashers because we eat healthy fresh foods at home 90% of the time and go through a lot of dishes. If you’re not cooking and eating at home then I say a lot of this isn’t necessary. Huge Frigidaire columns of side by side fridge and freezer because we prioritize fresh Whole Foods over processed pantry foods. Convection microwave by z line that ISNT a drawer because the drawers are way too slow for me but still placed in the island like a drawer. More of an affordable marble on the perimeter of the kitchen and a luxurious Italian statement marble on the island with an ogee edge. I wanted inset cabinets but to cut costs I did inset on uppers only and the lowers are all overlay and I love the mixture, I also brought all of my uppers down to the counter so they’re full length. Only the island is stain grade wood, everything else is paint grade.
