Meanwhile I played Long Dark for 4 months and Zomboid currently for 6 months and b42 is about to release on the stable branch with a huge blow up for the whole world map and I'll probably play it for many more months.

you completly missing the point. call of duty dying because its the exact same game every year. the period between releases is to short. fifa is still popular because teams, players change. more and more players movibg back to carrers insted of ultimate. because the graphics and gameplay don't change enough in short period of times. those games should keep a longer cycle of life. ubisoft is dying because for 13 years they didn't listen to fans, so they desperate to get back with remasters.
