I loved this book - it has waaay better writing than a lot of recently released romantasy books and I had no indication that it was another other than original writing... Can't wait for the second installment. There is a lot of slop out there, this book doesn't belong on the list...

It’s hard to not notice once you start but ppl really don’t use personal attacks when criticizing the works of male authors. I noticed it a few months ago when people were criticizing Emerald Fennel’s Wuthering Heights. Most videos criticizing the movie always found a way to call her stupid, insulted where she went to school, calling her a nepo baby, etc. The reviewers always seem to hate her more than they hated the movie. As much heat as the Odyssey is getting online right now, people are able keep their criticisms directed to the movie, not Christopher Nolan. It’s so grating 😪

What was the first book that started this whole “this book was written ai” craze? Like it’s crazy cause the first book I heard that got this was Silver Elite. But I think it started before that. Just absolutely crazy now how every week there’s a book being talked about being ai.

All of the creators I see talking about how to use AI to produce novels are men. Almost all of the creators I see raging against AI are women. All of the authors I've seen being accused of using AI are women.
