I think one of the most underrated love languages is teachability. Not perfection. Not always getting it right. Just being willing to learn. Because every relationship will eventually present us with moments where we discover that our intentions and our impact weren’t the same thing. Moments where we receive feedback. Moments where our blind spots get exposed. Moments where we’re invited to grow. And honestly, I think there’s something deeply meaningful about being with someone who doesn’t immediately become defensive when those moments arise. Someone who can listen. Someone who can consider another perspective. Someone who is willing to learn, adapt, and grow without viewing every piece of feedback as criticism or rejection. Because healthy relationships aren’t built by two perfect people. They’re built by two people who remain open to growth. Who recognize that loving someone well is a lifelong process of learning them, understanding them, and occasionally adjusting along the way. Not perfectly. Not without mistakes. But with enough humility to acknowledge that none of us have it all figured out. And over time, I think teachability creates trust. It creates safety. It creates the kind of relationship where both people feel free to be honest because growth is welcomed instead of resisted. And that’s why I believe teachability is one of the most underrated love languages there is. #lovelanguages #relationships #teachability #growth
