My child is 5 and up until recently did I finally kind of feel out of my postpartum. Postpartum isn’t linear. We all have our own experiences. And we can’t expect moms to carry all the weight physically, mentally, emotionally, all alone. While also expected to work and take care of herself and in most cases, their husbands and households, too.

Unpopular opinion: if a mother kills her children and her husband does nothing to prevent that, the husband needs to be held accountable as well. He is the parent as well.

My unpopular opinion, but i genuinely don’t think she was failed. I don’t think she actually had ppd, i know you don’t want to watch but Patrick took the stand first and i genuinely think she was a narcissistic sociopath. The trial may shed some light on that too; obviously my opinion can change if more evidence comes out that convinces me of, but I think she’s genuinely knew what she was doing. Don’t come from me, that’s just my personal opinion to date. I was very neutral and unsure going into the trial.

I hate how they’re like oh she was running a 5k right after she gave birth, she was happy, this and that… like okay people have never dealt with mental health.. manic episodes, depression, anxiety. There is no playbook! manic and depressive people are the best at hiding it all because they’re trying to keep it together on the outside

My heart breaks for her and her children. This case speaks so clearly about how pregnant women are disregarded by society at every turn. Pregnant women should be the center of everything that matters, yet they are barely, if at all, a part of medical research.
