Once or twice a year target does a car seat ‘buy back’. You take your old car seat in and I believe they give you a gift card.

I would never buy used car seat from a stranger, but I have sold my used ones to people I know well who trust that It wasn’t improperly handled or in a car accident. You could always put feelers out to your close friends and family if anyone’s in the market to buy one. But otherwise like other people said target does their trade-in event twice a year so if you need to buy a different stroller or a car seat for her for someone else’s car, you could hold onto it until then they usually do it in like October and March.

Twice a year target does the car seat turn in for a discount coupon towards new baby equipment. Some consignment shops will take car seats IF they are not too old

Facebook marketplace ! (orrrr I know it’s probably far down the line but I believe it’s good for 5-7 years after manufacture date if you wanted to use for another babe)

Save it for the car seat trade in! Then later you can use that discount for a different baby item whether you might need a travel stroller or another car seat for maybe a grandparent!

You can resell! Just post pictures and include the manufacturer date as they do expire. Best place to sell is marketplace!

You can resell so long as you havent damaged the seat or it was involved in an accident. Target has a buy back sale in the winter time where they will give you a certain percentage off a new seat
