theyre in a lot of liquid because these pickles are inspired by mul-kimchi, which is kimchi that ferments in brine as opposed to a paste. theyre usually made with radish or napa cabbage but this time they used cucumber. thats why theres so "few" compared to both popular kimchi and pickles because the broth can be used in cold soups or you drink it with your meals.
