Congratulations! This is what happened to us at the closing table. The buyer had a lien against her that she refused to pay because she claimed she already paid the bill. She would NOT have paid the bill again. The person requiring the bill to be paid left and came back and said don’t worry about it…it was so scary. All my stuff was on 2 18 wheelers and I was already under contract on my new house.

Congrats!!! We bought in 2020 and the houses were flying off the market, we would put and offer and it would be gone in hours. When we finally got an offer accepted I was so afraid to say anything until we had keys in our hands, home buying is stressful.
