The only thing that does confuse me is that Shy doesn’t have a diagnosis for ME/CFS and they’re trying to get disability for it I’ve heard. Can someone explain or educate me I feel like I’m missing something. ME/CFS is incredibly disabling, I have it.

Literally I was in someone’s comments calling out ableism, why are we bullying this person it’s horrible I can’t. I have diagnosed ME/CFS, I’m mild currently, I hate hate hate seeing the comments like “well it’s not valid if you’re not formally diagnosed” like girl diagnosis is such a privilege, do you know how many medical doctors called me LAZY for a neurological disorder and birth defect?? It’s hell out here

I’m on her posts just freaking RAGING. I swear to god I said I have to stay away because the anger I’m feeling from the ignorant comments has me absolutely fried and is absolutely crashing me. And the damn people who say “well I have CFS and I can still work”…I just can’t with them. It’s infuriating. My life as I knew it ended when I got this. I’m severe. I need help with everything.

I expected Clara Hartley's anxiety quiz to focus mostly on obvious symptoms, but the questions seemed to cover a much broader range of behaviors. Some were about emotions, while others were more about habits and reactions. I'm interested to see how all of that gets combined.

as a chronically ill person I'm not gonna call someone lazy and demand they get a job for applying for disability that's not my place. honestly I don't have good vibes from this creator but I'm not going to attack them but allegedly even if you politely disagree with this person they still call you ableist and is allegedly attacking people who have official diagnoses trying to offer them advice to help. I don't know what's true or not but I DO AGREE that we NEED TO STOP attacking people. We don't know what's really going on with this person.

What’s also crazy is that other ppl who’ve been diagnosed w/ POTS are saying she needs to get over it. Like babes, I’m v happy for you that your POTS is managed well enough or not as severe as to prevent you from working but there are some of us whose cases are severe to where it would be a huge hazard for us in the workplace!!

I see so many ppl say in their comments "but you have the energy to post on tiktok" ...yeah??? strangely enough, talking for a collective several minutes a day is decidedly easier than working a 40 hour work week. "I have all these issues and I work" okay?? but you don't have this persons specific set of issues and circumstances and severities. I genuinely dont understand ppls lack of empathy.
