I agree with the principle of consistent investing. My only addition is that long-term projections should always be viewed in real terms, not just nominal figures. A future portfolio worth ₦1 billion may sound extraordinary, but after four decades of inflation, its purchasing power could be dramatically lower than many people imagine.

I've been your follower for a long time but this is mathematically impossible, because using compound interest we have 10k(1.18)^45 = ₦17.1m rather than ₦1b while at simple interest we have 10k(1+0.18x 45) which is ₦91000.

1b naira is like $730k. in 41 years it may be like $10k if naira keep losing value. Last 2yrs I bought one plot of land in Epe for 2m naira and now they say it worth more than 10m naira. Who knows In 41 years 1b naira may not even be enough to buy one plot of land. Best thing is contribute 1 or 2m and start a food business where you brought food from the north and find customer in Lagos and distribute to them. You can make 500k to 1m gain monthly if you are consistent instead of waiting for money you may not live long to enjoy. Things are very cheap in the north
