Zheikh Zamiir🇬🇧 :
There is a Somali woman named Leyla. She was born in the UK. Her mother brought her to Somalia when she was young, but sadly her mother passed away shortly afterwards.
After her mother's death, her maternal aunt (her mother's sister) took care of her and later brought her back to the UK. They lived there for some time while Leyla was studying.
One day, her aunt told her that they were going to attend a wedding in Saudi Arabia. Leyla initially refused to go. However, the bride contacted her and said, “My wedding cannot take place without you.” Because of this, Leyla agreed to go.
They travelled together, but instead of taking her to Saudi Arabia, her aunt brought her to Dubai. After staying there for three days, she was then taken to Somalia and handed over to another aunt. Leyla says that she was still a child at the time, had no address, and did not fully understand what was happening.
As she grew older and reached adulthood, she was married off to a man without her consent. She says that she endured abuse, neglect, and a lack of care throughout her marriage. During that time, she gave birth to 12 children.
Leyla is now seeking justice for what she says she has suffered and wants her case to be heard fairly
