Let’s say a batter hits the ball. They then run two runs and just after they run the second the ball reaches the boundary for a four. In that scenario it’s 4 runs. Not 6. Not 4 plus the two they ran. So why is it not just four in this situation. Who cares how it ends up in the boundary. It’s 4.
