@thesameerproject: Rats. Insects. Sewage. Families in Gaza are forced to battle all of it just to stay clean. Displacement doesn't just steal homes, previous lives, one’s future hopes, it strips away dignity. When there is no proper sanitation, no waste management, and no safe place to wash, preventing disease becomes another daily struggle. That is why hygiene parcels matter. They restore more than cleanliness, but instead also they help families regain a sense of agency over their own lives in circumstances designed to deny them even the most basic necessities. On June 24, The Sameer Project distributed 65 hygiene parcels to families in Dabeit Camp and Al Salam Dabeit Camp, in Gaza City. Each parcel cost approximately $39 total cost of $2,784 after the 21% commission. Cleanliness should never be a privilege. Help us continue reaching for hygiene, health, happiness, and dignity.
