how do you get that much credit limits. Even when I was doing good credit wise etc most I've gotten was 7000k

I love opening a CC when I need something and using the promos they have. So example, I got the Home Depot CC to purchase my new washer and dryer and I took advantage of the no interest for 12 months… I always pay it off before the end of the year so I win. I wanted a sofa and got another CC and paid it off before interest kicked in. Etc

I knew a girl whose mother told her to apply to as many credit cards as she can get. Then when one is maxed, throw it away and start using the second card. Her mother told her they will call you for a bit for payment but then write it off and your free and clear. That was 27 years ago and $33,000 in credit card debt. Today she is still paying on them…..they have garnished her wages and won judgements. She lives in a 1970’s trailer and has a junk vehicle with no chance of ever having a retirement. Mother knows best!

I have 2 credit cards. One I only use for gas $57, paid off monthly. Card #2 has $0 balance.

the worst i ever had was a 7k credit card debt and luckily the company i was with helped me out and I only had to pay 2400 to fully pay it off and I was done with it after that. I have not had credit card debt since then. that was 2022 or 2023

My husband and I are 2 month away from paying of 35k worth of debt. We just buckled down and threw all we could at it. It feels so nice to be so close to being debt free.

It’s reminds me of housing crisis of 2008. People get those massive loans that they unable to pay. Credit card companies should not get bailed out for giving irresponsible people credits.
