@justinfreakin: Erika Kirk Snaps At Heckler During Kirkland Washington Event (KING 5) KIRKLAND, Wash. — A line wrapped around The Pursuit Church in Kirkland hours before Erika Kirk, widow of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, took the stage Friday night as part of the organization's "Make Heaven Crowded" tour. Organizers describe the tour as a Christian revival focused on worship, preaching and prayer. By the time the event began, a large group of protesters had also gathered on the sidewalk, stretching down 132nd Avenue Northeast. Demonstrators said they were holding a peaceful "love over hate" protest in support of the LGBTQ+ community, immigrants and other groups they believe are targeted by Turning Point USA's messaging. The event drew heightened security, including a large police presence. Aside from some tense moments between people on opposing sides outside on the sidewalk, Friday's event remained peaceful. Rick Kraker, who lives nearby, watched the scene unfold outside the church. "What a spectacle!" Kraker said. Kraker said he had heard organizers expected a large turnout.
