My boss did this too (illegal in Europe btw) and fired me over leaving “2 minutes early”. It wasn’t early, the office pc doesn’t match the camera time apparently. I could have made it a case, but I was just so sick of the guy.

My manager's only clock watching when she thinks we don't take our breaks just to remind us they are mandatory and we HAVE to take them. She also blocked our badges sont we can't come back if the break isn't long enough

Had a minimum wage job, paid by the hour. They introduced a clock and strict rules about overtime which always underpaid. Before that I would come in early and leave late and not stress about the extra time/pay. Once the clock was there and the new rules, I wouldn’t start until I was contracted to and I would leave at end of contracted hours. They wanted a robot, they got one.
