I don't understand why people feel such guilt about doing this? spaying cats prevent them from going into heat which can be so painful to them. I've seen my friend foster a 1 year old baby who had given birth to 5. she was so stressed out. spaying your cats is the most loving thing you can do for them

You would feel worse for both of you of you didn’t! Cats are polyoestrus and come into season over and over til they are mated and then it all starts again. She will be back to normal in no time. Take the collar off when you’re with her. They heal very very quickly usually

I cried when I got my 7 months female cat spayed because she was put under anestesia while in my arms and I got flashbacks of my 19 year old male cat passing away in my arms because they have the same eyes, I was absoluty terrified until I got her back because the flashbacks were destroying me

I've lowkey never felt guilty about it and I've had many cats all of which have been spayed... Its literally better for their health and my babies don't need to be having babies.
