You’re not the first to go through this cycle. But I would highly suggest establishing boundaries. He is that child’s father. No one has to make you responsible in upholding your relationship with baby girl, so it should be vice versa for him as well. If he wants to be a present father, he will. Come hell or high water. This is not meant to bash him, by no means is that my agenda. I’m just trying to convey that you cannot force a man to take care of his responsibilities. If he’s going to do it, he’ll do it without being prompted. So set healthy boundaries with one another at this stage in y’all’s life. Don’t worry about a romantic relationship with one another. Right now it’s about building a solid, healthy co parenting relationship. Remember, this is something that your child is also watching. Show her what it means to have healthy boundaries 😊 and who knows, God may lead yall back together romantically…or not but either way at least you guys will have a healthy co-parenting style 🤷🏾‍♀️❤️
