Black means death in the automotive world. Anything spray painted black will come back including engines. I got reman engines in terrible shape out of the box.

black means "reman" in most cases there's not a single good "reman" available 100% junk. either install a brand new unit or take it somewhere else - I'm not doing it again for free... and it's gonna need a complete flush again as well.
