I gave birth 5 times and every time I literally felt I might die, although Inhad “easy birth “ the pain is so sever that you really think you might die. I lost my mothers grandmother in childbirth, so I always had this information in my head that it can happen.

She is so so right! I was blissfully unaware of what pregnancy and childbirth was all about. I ended up developing gestational diabetes, had to be induced (felt like literal torture, went on for about 3-4 days). Ended up with an emergency episiotomy with forceps (my babies heart rate was dropping) 2nd degree tear and a major haemorrhage. My midwife sat down with me afterwards and explained first my baby was the emergency and then I became the emergency. They did a great job of keeping me calm as I literally had no idea I was bleeding out, lost just under 2 litres. I’m 7 months postpartum now so physically feel like I’ve recovered but I still think about it from time to time.

That's why it matters so much who you marry. A man that loves you and respects you won't ever say stuff like that about childbirth and about you giving birth to his children. My husband is always looking for information about it to be prepared for it, he asks me questions, and watches videos about it and about raising children, how to deal with my moods and how to be even better than he is which I think it's impossible because he's really a gem, he's something all women wish for.
