I work in vehicle graphics and signage. We get a lot of these at the moment. Not awful for some ideas or inspo to see how they want it laid out, but not very understanding that we can’t print it and design it exactly the same 😅

I had someone reject an estimate because ChatGPT doesn't need 8 hours to conduct a market analysis. "Just make the logo". Sir, you hired a professional. If you want a low-res raster logo that looks like everything else in the marketplace, ask ChatGPT. If you want an iconic brand identity, a sign the SOW. Your already getting 16 years of experience for $25/hour less than I made before AI ruined my career. I don't have time to listen to you telling me all about how I don't deserve to afford food.

I need everyone to get sick of the designs too like reeeeaaaally quick. My boss in the MARKETING AGENCY has lost all her senses of taste in design and prefers that Gemini/chatGPT poster-flyer look for….EVERYTHING. She literally gets to see me make a design that would fit very well or at very least be “fine” and she just says it’s….bad put it through ai what will it do??? And when she gets it she says ITS BETTER?! just half a year ago she told me some shit ab branding when I was trying to occasionally for specific ads freshen up fonts but now when the branding is of chatGPT and Gemini anton look alike that now everyone is doing — it’s “good” and “wow looks so much better”? 😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨

My dad is an illustrator and when all of the stock sites came out in the early 00’s, it did slow his career way down for a while but it came back because people got sick of unoriginal illustrations. Keep Hope!
